Grammy Award-winner and founder member of Snarky Puppy, Bill Laurance comes home to Leeds with a third solo album Aftersun, a paean to space exploration and life in the cosmos.
The music is filtered down to its roots in a quartet that features his Snarky Puppy bandmates Michael League and Robert 'Sput' Searight, along with legendary New Orleans percussionist Weedie Braima.
With flavours taken from African percussion and dance music at its heart, the album combines deep world grooves with Laurance’s signature genre-bending exploration.
