Join Nu Civilisation Orchestra and up to 60 young music stars of the future from local Manchester schools and colleges for a spectacular show to mark the centenary year of the birth of six Giants of Jazz: Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Mongo Santamaria, Thelonious Monk, Tadd Dameron and Buddy Rich. Their music and spirit will gain new life and renewed energy through the stellar performances of almost 600 young people taking part in The Jazz Ticket nationwide music programme.
